Preparing for a kayaking tour with Connemara Escape:
    • Please dress comfortably in easy-drying fitness clothing or hiking attire, especially if the weather forecast predicts rain and cold temperatures. For rainy and windy conditions, windproof and waterproof hiking clothes are recommended.
    • Ensure your shoes are suitable for getting slightly wet, and consider bringing spare shoes to change into after kayaking.
    • On sunny days, wetsuit shoes, water shoes, fit flops, or clogs are ideal.
    • Don’t forget to pack a towel and change clothes for after kayaking, and remember to wear a sunhat, apply suncream, and wear sunglasses to protect yourself from the sun’s rays. Even on overcast days, a sunhat can provide protection.
    • Bringing a bottle of water and a small snack is advisable for the tour.
    • Consider bringing an extra jumper or lightweight jacket, although one medium-sized dry bag per kayak will be provided.
    • Buoyancy aids will be supplied, and comprehensive instructions will be given throughout the tour. A guide will accompany you at all times
    •  While we’re happy to take pictures for you, you’re welcome to bring your phone. Just ensure it’s protected with a waterproof cover or a sealed plastic bag.
